Re: Animal age changes
Hi, We are new users of Open and have found this posting and wondered if it is still coming?
Thanks Bernie
Re: Animal age changes
Hi Bernie,
This has been developed and will be in the final 1.5 release (https://openvpms.atlassian.net/browse/OVPMS-937)
Cheers
Tony

cool
Re: Animal age changes
Hi Tony,
Should we be able to see the above changes with the latest update you have done for us?
Cheers,
Bernie
Re: Animal age changes
Hi Bernie,
Yes, but need to implement inside OpenVPMS. I.e need to add a Duration formats in Administration Lookups. Then need to link to it multiple other Duration Format settings to represent the ages at which you want different patient formats to be displayed. Then select the Duration Formats in your Practice under Administration -> Organisation
Your implementer can help do this for you .. I will document on site soon.
Cheers Tony
Re: Animal age changes
Hey Bernie,
Here is a screenshot of how ours is set up.
Not sure if uyou need to go on website/forums to see it or not.
Cheers,
Matt C
Re: Animal age changes
Thanks Matt,
I have loaded our durations as per your screen shot.
I am not sure what step actually activates it though. ie when I have checked patient info ageing is still in the old format.
Bernie
Re: Animal age changes
You need to link the durations to the practice.
To do this, go to Administration -> Organisation, and select and edit the practice.
In the Patient Age Format field, select the new durations.

Re: Animal age changes
Thanks Tim, worked perfectly.
Would you know if part b) Add the age of the animal as of the visit date to the visit description should also now be working and would this go back to older visits or start to work when new visits are added?
Thanks Again,
Bernie
Re: Animal age changes
Ah -this is an omission on my part. I'll fix it up for the final release.
In the patient summary, it will display the patient age in the visit description e.g.:
23/08/2002 - Consultation - Vet [In Progress] 17 Years
23/04/1996 - Consultation - Vet [In Progress] 11 Years
