Attaching documents to a service?

Hi Matt, Thanks for the tour of the clinic and the advice on our openvpms set -up the other day. Could I ask you to expand on the technique you used to print a series of forms for a patient for admission, Thanks Sam

Attaching documents to a service?

Hi Sam, Yeah no worries! If people are based in Melbourne and would like to see OPVPMS working in a large busy practice we are more then willing to have people call and arrange a time to come. Ask to speak to Matt or Peter. Sam is referring to a process by which we attach a series of admission forms (namely our Hospital Admit Info sheet -for client, our Hospital Chart (used to record obs whilst hospitalised) and our Hospital cover sheet (contains merged info like patient details and client details and lives on top of hospital charts). 1. We create our Product which will trigger the form generation. In this case we use a zero $ value item called "ADMIT". This is billed to the customer at the time of admit. 2. Within Products we Edit this product. 3. Go to the Documents tab 4. Add as many templates to the Product as desired. In this case, 3 "Patient Forms". Note: Document Templates are created in Administration->Templates. The Documents will be created and attached to the patient at the time the invoice is generated. Note the invoice can be UNPOSTED and the documents will still be created.
