1.7 Alpha - Failure sending error report

As promised in my previous post I pressed the Send Error Report button - and it failed also - see below.

My guess is that the SMTP parameters embedded in OPV's error sender are no longer valid for some reason.

The error sender uses mail settings associated with the current location. If this doesn't work, chances are you wont be able to send mails via a customers email contact or via the Mail option either.

Check the location mail settings to ensure they are correct.

Ahah - they were set to use my bigpond account when I was testing email to customers. I then modified them for the screen shot to invalid values, so of course it no longer works.

a) I wil adjust the CSH page on error reporting

b) do you want me to create a gmail account (say opv.demo[at]gmail[dot]com) so we can set the demo system to use the gmail SMTP gateway?

I don't really want to enable email support as that would enable the demo system to be used to send spam.
