1.7 Alpha - Product Equivalents - Add works funny

When you add an equivalent product using the Products|Edit|Equivalent tab, then immediately you press the add button, it prefills the product with the product that you are editing (ie Alamacyn 10 Injection) - see snippet below.

If you then change the product to something else and press Apply nothing happens.  However, if you press OK, and then do a View,  the new equivalent product has been added.
