Adding a referral report visit that happened on the same day but later that night

Hi,

After a patient has been to a referral practice we enter the visit and report by adding a visit and note and changing the date as we usually receive the report the day after the visit, and adding attachment on to the patients medial records. 

If this happens on the same day as we saw the patient, even though the referral visit happened after ours the added visit that is added goes below our visit due to our visit having recorded hours of say 2pm completed and when you add the referral visit and change the date to the day prior and complete on same prior date the hours are 12am-12am.

Would anyone have a suggestion as to how they may record visits such as these?

We don't support editing the times that records are added.

This is largely due to Medical Record Locking, which doesn't allow date changes.

If there is sufficient interest, we can look to supporting changing times as well, when Medical Record Locking is not enabled.

Understand the locking, it just looks messy that the visit that happened after our visit sits below ours in the medical records screen.

Not sure if others log referral/after hours reports differently?
