Address Labels

We have previously used preprinted vaccination reminders which we generated client address labels for whenever due.

Is there a way in Open VPMS that we can merge reminder details to print as address labels.

Failing this can we format a printer to just print the address details onto vaccination reminder cards.

Cheers,

Nick

RE: Address Labels

Hi Nick,

OpenVPMS currently merges each letter in the reminder list individually rather than doing them in batches based on reminder type/letter template etc. This does mean that it currently isn't possible to get a complete merge data file to use for printing batches of labels.

You can definitely format a template to print any details you like directly onto vaccination cards. There are current users of OpenVPMS doing thsi and I am sure they woudl be happy to share their template file(s) with you ..

Cheers Tony

RE: Address Labels

Hi Nick and Tony,

I'm a bit confused - did you mean vaccination cards or reminder letters?

We certainly have the addresses printed to the reminders in such a way they sit well ina windowed envelope. If you are using vacc cards (like postcards) I'm sure you could achieve the same effect.
