So, one issue we have had in the past (and still today to an extent) is finding companies that have experience with, support or provides software that integrates with OVPMS. While the general advice has been to "google it", anyone who has done so will have seen there is a limited amount of companies out there that that you can find this way.

We have a couple of different systems that integrate with OpenVPMS. These companies have all put resouces into developing extensions to OVPMS. Knowledge of the possibilities of these integrations would benefit both OVPMS users (who proabably don't even realise these exist and what can be done with these) and the companies that have put money into OVPMS development that often benefits the whole community even if they don't use that particular integration (an example of this would be the initial HL7 project).

In addition as TonyDeK has stepped back to a situation where he is providing higher level support there are clearly people who need other resources for mainetnance of OVPMS servers and the such. We were recently in such a situation and are arranging for training of our new IT support in these systems. Again, both OVPMS users and the companies getting experience in OVPMS maintenance would benefit from knowing of each other's existence.

So....

Is there a reason we can't have a page on the website where companies that provide support and integrations with OVPMS can have a short listing detailing what they do, how they support/integrate/etc with OVPMS and contact details? This could be curated by the site moderators to prevent abuse. I suspect it would be a valuable resource for users of OVPMS...
