Morning All

Can anyone shed some light on why my appointment reasons are changing from the sceduling to the work list.

Let me explain - in the reason section the appointment is for ears when you check in to work list all of a sudden the appointment reason is EATS.
Very strange.
Also all the dashes - turn into _ . Ie x-ray turns into x_ray.
Yearly injection that has no dash turns into Yearly_injection.
Anyone know how to fix or why this is happening, or is it just mine that is doing this.

Hi Jocelyn,

Not sure with the first issue ... Would need some more information.

The later issue looks like someone has deleted some lookups. The lookups have a code and a name. The code is what is stored in the database and the name Is what is displayed. The system looks up the code and if it finds displays the name. When data is migrated the lookups are created on the fly. The code is created by removing any non alphanumeric characters and replacing them with underscores.

So if the lookup is removed there is no name to find and it displays the code instead ..

Morning Joss... :) I have identified what the problem is with this one. It is able to be consistently replicated. When an APPOINTMENT REASON lookup is first added, the NAME for the appointment reason is displayed on both schedules and worklists. (i.e. you make the appointment and you can see the APPOINTMENT REASON on the schedule. When you CHECK IN to a WORKLIST you can see the NAME for the APPOINTMENT REASON on the worklist too.) However if you EDIT an APPOINTMENT REASON lookup, then OpenVPMS will show the NAME for the appointment reason on the schedule and the CODE for the appointment reason in the worklist. Hence you are seeing the APPOINTMENT REASON with different text on the worklist after it has been checked in. The underscore is appearing because in the code for APPOINTMENT REASON lookups with two or more words the space is shown as an underscore instead of a space. The short term solution is to deactivate and recreate APPOINTMENT REASONS when you need to edit them. However it would be great if this could be Jira'd for a future version. So that APPOINTMENT REASON lookups show the NAME in both schedules and worklists regardless of whether they have been edited. I think this is just a matter of the reason code being copied from the appointment to the task description.

It should be copying the symbolic name of reason instead.

Hi Gerri

Now i havn't add appointment reasons on yet so let me check if i know how to do it. Into Admin, into appointment reasons. Then deactivate the ones that are funny and re enter then. Then i need to contact you to restart tomcat that night.
