Appointment Type

Hi,

When we book appt's in our Sugery column on the schedule we select an appointment type, eg: Dental Grade 4, this then automatically books out enough time for that particular procedure. I want to get a list of the appointment types, that lists how much time is allocated to each procedure. I can't find where to get this. I've looked in admin/types/ appointment type and I can see a list of types but not the times allocated. Can someone tell me where I can find this?

Hi Sandra,

The number of slots that an Appointment Type takes up is defined per schedule.  If you look at each schedule on the appointments type tab you will see the appointment types that can be selected for that schedule and how many slots it uses.  The actual time used by the appointment type is then the number of slots X slot size period defined for the schedule.  i.e if a schedule defines slots as 15 minutes and an appointment type defaults to 2 slots then the initial time allocated will be 30 minutes.
