Clinician Default

Hi

Is there any way to set up so that when creating a new consult all products sold in that consult default to the consulting clinician rather than having to choose for each item? We are having a lot of items sold with no clinician and this appears to be at least part of the reason.

Hi Di,

As soon as you select a clinician in openVPMS that clinician will populate any clinician field without the need to re-enter.  You do have to select a clinician initially of course after you first login but after that it shoudl remain selected.  

In versions prior to version 1.5 the check-in and consult workflow sometimes affected the default clinician selection in some strange ways.  This was definitely rectified in 1.5.   As this is the version you have recently started running I suspect the issue may disappear but please keep us posted.
