deactivating reminder types

I am in the process of changing my reminder setup.

If I deactivate a reminder type which has been replaced with another, will the reminders already created with the old reminder type still work? Or should I leave them as active?

I would prefer to deactivate them so they are not inadvertently used on new products.

Hi Matt,

I believe any reminders that are still In Progress for inactivated Reminder Types will still get processed in the Reporting ->Reminders workspace.

I actually thought this may not be a desired feature but given your post it actually may be ?
