Document: How to make it easier to see where the cursor is

I found the above document "How to make it easier to see where the cursor is" on this website. When I go to bring the document up it says that "There is a pdf attached with the old version of this page. This page needs to be rewritten."

Does that mean if I attempt to follow the instructions on the document it won't work? Or could I cause problems?

Sandra.

Re: Document: How to make it easier to see where the cursor is

Hi Sandra, The instructions will still work. Try it on a workstation computer first, not a terminal. This is much simpler as a first step and much safer. Then if you feel confident and you like the effect, move to the server and the separate firefox instances.

Apparently there is a way to get the firefox settings configured for groups within a Server 2003 environment rather then manually changing the configuration file for each station, but I have been unable to figure it out.

Matt C Ps. You will see this effect when you visit our practice.

How to make it easier to see the cursor

Sandra @ Bellarine

Hi Matt,

Please excuse my ignorance!  When you say "try it on a workstation computer first, not a terminal" I'm not sure what you mean by a workstation.  I think of the workstations as the dumb terminals (termteks).  We have the fileserver, lots of terminals (termteks) and a PC.  Which should I try it on first?

Sandra.

No Sandra, excuse my lack of specificity!

Try it on the PC first is my advice :)
