Estimates not giving zero value to low quantity

We have noticed that when doing an estimate, if a low value of zero is entered then the fixed price (ie: dispensing/injection fees) is still added on, rather than being a zero value. This didn't happen prior to the 1.9 upgrade - have other users noticed this as a problem with 1.9?

Thanks,

Maureen

Re: Estimates not giving zero value to low quantity

Hi Maureen,

This is a feature if you have Minimum Quantities ticked in your "Practice" setup.  From https://openvpms.org/documentation/csh/1.9/admin/organisation/practice there is a description of:

Minimum Quantities - used to reduce charging errors, by ensuring that a product has a minimum quantity.
When enabled, product template and estimate Low Quantities set a mininum quantity for a product. When expanding a template into an estimate or charge, the low quantity of the included product becomes the minimum quantity for an item. When invoicing an estimate, the estimate low quantities set the minimum quantities on the invoice.

You might need to assess if turning this off would affect any other operations for you.
