Format change to patient Reminder Tab

Hi,

We're currently using OpenVPMS Version 2.0-beta-2-SNAPSHOT (7814) and I'd like to see some changes in the headings/format of the patient reminder tab.

On the version we're using there is no reminder start/creation date, I've attached a picture of what the reminder tab looks like.

The headings at the moment are Next Due Date in Column 1 and First Due Date in column 2.The next due date changes as the reminder count goes up. Is the Next Due Date necessary as it seems to complicate things.

We would prefer to see the Reminder Start/Creation Date in column 1 & the Reminder Due Date in Column 2.

At present if we want to look up when the reminder was created (eg: to investigate a client query) we need to take note of the product the reminder is linked to and go to the Charge Tab to see when the product was charged.

I don't remember exactly what the old reminder screen looked like, but it seemed much simpler. Can it change back?

Sandra.

Re: Format change to patient Reminder Tab

Hi,

I'm very happy to see the creation date come back, thank you.

I find it's usefeul to have the reminder count, so at a glance you can tell how many reminders if any have gone out. Is the Reminders sent going to replace the count? Will it list the number of reminders sent, eg: 1, 2 3?

Is the purpose of the Next Due Date to let staff know when the next reminder is due to go out?

Do you have any idea of time frame for the change?

Sandra.

Re: Format change to patient Reminder Tab

The Reminders Sent column indicates the reminder count (kinda).

In 1.9, it was present in the Description column, as you can see here: https://www.openvpms.org/documentation/csh/1.9/patient/record#reminders

For historical reasons, the Reminder Count/Reminders Sent work as follows:

  • Reminder Count 0 - used for first reminder
If the reminder hasn't been sent, Reminders Sent = 0
If the reminder has been sent, Reminders Sent = 1

  • Reminder Count 1 - used for second reminder

If the reminder hasn't been sent, Reminders Sent = 1
If the reminder has been sent, Reminders Sent = 2

  • etc

The Next Due Date does indicate when the reminder will next be sent

The change has already been made. It will be generally available next week.
