Generating list of client's mobile numbers

Hello,

Is there any way we can generate a list of client's mobile numbers?

Thanks for your help!

Kind regards,

Re: Generating list of client's mobile numbers

Karen - attached is a quick and dirty report cloned from another.  Note that the term 'classification' actually means the Customer Account Type.

Note also that I just dumped the "description" field - because this glues in the area code if you use them and it also shows all 'purposes'.  The report dumps all phone contains that include the purpose 'Mobile', so if in your system you have not tagged the phone numbers that are mobile phones as purpose 'Mobile' then this report will be useless to you.

Regards, Tim G

Re: Generating list of client's mobile numbers

Thanks very much for your donation Karen and thanks very much for helping her out Tim G.

Many other users have benefitted from advice given in the forum and it's important to remember that people like Tim are doing this pro bono for the benefit of the whole user group. There is a solid core of involved members who are supporting projects that we will all benefit from in time. Perhaps if we all contributed a few tax deductible dollars a lot more of the things you want will come to us sooner.

As far as how to donate Karen, there is no easy way to do it through this site yet but we will be working on it. But I will contact you to organise a tax invoice amount of your choice.

Thanks again

Peter

Re: Generating list of client's mobile numbers

Hi Peter,

On that note. I could be wrong, but currently it appears that people need to already participate on the forums to be aware of improvements/ possible changes and then donate. Is there a mailing list of all OpenVPMS users that can be leveraged to actively campaign for projects/donations?

I did a rough back of paper calculation of what it would cost to get all the projects marked as "seeking funding" funded and came up with a figure in the region of $30,000. I am not sure how many clinics currently use openVPMS but someone mentioned a figure of about 60 clinics to me. This means a $500 investment by each clinic would get EVERY SINGLE PROJECT that is currently seeking funding done and implemented....

It sort of blows my mind that for such a small amount of money each we could achieve this.

PS. Before people ask. We are a startup clinic as well. We are doing it tough but I view our practice management system as one of the most important tools in the clinic. We use it more than any other tool/piece of equipment and small improvements here mean big productivity gains for everyone and a more pleasent working environment. I would say that investing in OpenVPMS is a better way to save money for me than spending hours searching for a cheaper IV catheter....

PPS. Before someone asks. Yes, I am willing to donate my time to active marketing/fundraising for OpenVPMS if someone will help me with the details (mailing lists, making info sheets, etc).

Here endeth the rant...

Re: Generating list of client's mobile numbers

To all users,

Are there any willing participants for Peters idea of a $500 donation to the general kitty to improve Open VPMS?

We all certainly pay a lot less to use Open VPMS in comparison to many other Practice Management programs that are available.

We have our hands up if the powers that be can organise that for us and maybe create a post for others to easily commit donations thru?

Cheers

Bernie & Jannine cool
