how to add a new appointment type

I want to have something on scheduler / workflow screen - a reminder to phone or order something, or follow up phone call.


I cant figure out how to add this "note" or reminder to the list of appointment types which comes up with making an appointment.

Select your preferred way to display the comments and click "Save settings" to activate your changes.

There isn't a facility to do this automatically.
You can:

  • fill out the Notes on an appointment, and it will display in the Scheduling view; or
  • create a Follow Up task for the patient:
    1. click on an existing appointment to display the patient summary
    2. click on the Follow-Up Task button on the patient summary to create a new Task for the patient
