How do I log in as a new user?

We have our openvpms logged in as a user that is not an administrator which is denying access to creating appointments etc. When I log off and log back in it is staying on that user. Any suggestions?? Thanks Chris

Select your preferred way to display the comments and click "Save settings" to activate your changes.

You should be able to click Logout on the top right of the screen, and then log back in again as a different user.

If that doesn't work, try closing and re-opening the browser first.

Have done both of those things several times, have rebooted the whole system several times, have restored yesterdays backup. Nothing will change the user in the top right corner.

Please close the browser, then reopen it and go to

http://your.server.address:8080/manager

user: admin password: openvpms (if you followed installation guide)

Look at the applications list and on the OPENVPMS row - click the button EXPIRE SESSIONS

then got to

http://your.server.address:8080/openvpms/login.jsp

Make sure the browser does not insert any "SAVED PASSWORDS" of have any extensions that can process an AUTO LOGIN. eg Lastpass etc

enter the administrator user name and password.

Let us know what happens

If the above fails - at that point the implementor should be contacted. 

Also try using a different web browser.

Out of interest when you said you rebooted the system - which system were you referring to...the server or the workstation. (if they are seperate)
