I could have sworn that I came across a post previously mentioning that there are clinics in the US using Open VPMS, but unfortunately, I was unable to find it.  If there are any United States users, would you mind sharing how Open VPMS is working for you and also how you are dealing with the tax calculations?  My wife is in the process of evaluating different practice management software, and I'd really love to go with the open source solution, but the tax issue may be a bit of a hindrance.  Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Yep there are users in the US and Canada that have been using OPENVPMS successfully for the last few years

is a conversation involving most of them.

I would suggest posting something directly to those people if you have specific setup issues pertaining to the way your state handles tax.

Thanks, Ben.  That's the thread I was referencing.  Fortunately, I just found out that in the state of Colorado, there is no sales tax on veterinary services/prescriptions in most municipalities, so this isn't even that big of a deal.  Thanks again for the heads up on that thread.
