label printer

I am about to get a label printer. I have not used one before. Are there any which are most suited to OpenVPMS? If not, does anyone have good or bad opinions on particular brands/models?

Re: label printer

We're using this one: http://global.dymo.com/enAU/Products/LabelWriter_450.html and it works great. It was a little bit of bear to configure though (under Ubuntu Linux).

And we're using these labels: http://www.labelvalue.com/small-veterinary-prescription-labels-warning-p-276.html

Re: label printer

We use a Seiko Smart Label Printer 440 connected to a USB printer server to turn it into a network printer. We run a Windows7 based network and had no problem with the printer for OpenVPMS.

The above printer and vet labels can be ordered through LabelCity:
