New client - file already exists

Hi,

We have a lot of duplicate clients on our system. I know there is a report for duplicate clients, but I'm wondering how we can prevent the duplicates at the start rather than merging them later.

Would there be any possible way that OpenVPMS could scan existing Customers phone numbers when a staff member is adding a new customer?

Some type of pop-up that would say "A customer with this phone number already exists - John Smith 0400123456, would you like to open that customer instead?"
