New Product addition

Hi,

I would love to be able to add a new product from Suppliers - Deliveries rather than having to quit the invoice I'm working on, make the product then go back to the invoice.

Is there something I'm missing? or is this something we could make a project for?

I've heard this from my team a few times as well. Any guidance on how to make it easy is appreciated.

There is a minor change going in to the 2.2.1 release to enable products to be created from within a delivery.
It will add a New button in the Product browser for a delivery item.

Alternatively, you can open a second OpenVPMS window using on the menu, and use that window to add products while you are editing the delivery.

In OpenVPMS 2.2.1, when creating or editing a Delivery:

1. click on or add a Delivery Item

2. click the binoculars button next to the Product.

3. in the product browser, click New to create a new product

Also make sure you are running the correct version. Help - About should show:

Version: 2.2.1 (20201216-155248.9ef7ba3)

You are running a pre-release snapshot from 12/11/2020.
The change you are after, OVPMS-1357 was added on the 25/11.
The 2.2.1 release was made available on the 16/12.
