New user inquiry

Hello everyone
We are setting up a new mobile veterinary service around werribee and wish to view the OpenVPMS in operation. We have had a look at one site but they had done lots of changes and advanced developements. I want to view the 'raw application' in use, to assess what it is capable of and how user friendly it is without any programming / customisation.
Any help wil be great. I can be contacted on 0401377300.
Regards
Harry Singh

Hi Harry,
The best way to see the raw installation is to look at the demonstration at the top of the page. You can log in as Guest and the password is User1234 make sure you get the case right.
The menu across the top will take to the main areas of interest whilst the menus on the left change with your choice of a top menu. Most often you will work from schedules (appointment lists) and worklists (hospital lists, job lists, waiting room lists) so have a look at these as well. If you have any questions you can post them to the list and someone will be able to help.

Thanks for the response. I have tried the demo but want to experience a live operation without any advancements.
Do you mean this list users[at]lists.openvpms[dot]org. I did send an email but no response, not yet.
Thanks again for your advice.
Re: New user inquiry
All posts to the user's forum go to the user's mailing list and vice versa, so there is no need for you to post to both. It may be best if you join the mailing list to ensure you get a reply. You can do it here: http://lists.openvpms.org/listinfo/users
The usual practice is for people to reply to the list rather than to the individual user so that everyone benefits from the answers received.
What do you mean by a live operation 'without any advancements'?
Kind regards, Matt Young OpenVPMS website administrator
