Online Appointment Booking

Hi,

I'm not sure if this has been discussed previously as I cant see a thread in recent history, however has there much discussion about creating a platform for clients to book appointments online via the clinic website? This would work well for us for both normal vet consults but also if that could be extended to boarding.

The human medical "Health Engine" platform is sublime and works brilliantly.

I recently developed an interface to enable 1stAvailable to submit online bookings to OpenVPMS, and it works really well.

Unfortunately I don't own the IP, so I don't know if it will end up as part of OpenVPMS in the future. I expect things will be clearer in a month or so.

Hi Trev,

Australian Animal Hospitals developed this with Tim and have been using it in production since September 2016.  It does work very well.  This development will be donated by AAH to the OpenVPMS community as part of the next release.

ive seen greencross' version powered by petyeti which looks to have a link to 1st available. will it be similar? that's exciting it will be in next version.

Trev: The above comments are all correct in that we (PetYeti) have Developed an integration with Open VPMS in conjunction with the great help of Tony and the team over at AAH.

We have also developed this technology across other platforms like RxWorks, Cidr House and EzyVet. It has been in use over the past few years by companies such as Greencross, AAH and National Vet Care.
