OTC Template?

Hi,

We're having a problem with our OTC invoice/receipt printing out as if on an A4 sheet. I have looked under templates but can't seem to find where the original setup is so that I can check it. I did find a template called 'counter sale items' but I can't open that to check it.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Hi Sandra,

The template for OTC sales is called Counter Sales and it can have a jasper report attached called either counterSale.jrxml (A4) or counterSaleA5.jrxml (A5)

The Counter Sale Items template is the subreport for detailing the individual counter sale items and this should have a jasper report of counterSaleItems.jrxml (A4) or counterSaleItemsA5.jrxml.

OTC Template

Hi Tony,

I have found the template and it appears to be set up correctly, I have attached a print screen of the setup and also a copy of how the receipt prints out. I'm unable to open the template, has that got something to do with it being a jasper report?

If you think this has something to do with our printer configuration and not our set up on OpenVPMS let me know. Our other A5 invoices and receipts print out correctly on A5.

(didn't let me attach copy of receipt as over 1MB)

Hi Sandra,

Ok. Templates being used look fine but I would go and check each of the printers defined for each location under in the CounterSale template (not needed in the items template) and make sure you haven't selected a tray. If selected may try and override printer tray selected in printer setup and try and print out on A4 paper or format. Set tray to None.
