Patient Merging Error
Submitted by bellvet on Mon, 11/05/2009 - 14:33
Hi,
I am trying to merge 2 patients that are currently under the same owner file.
I keep getting the attached error.
Does anyone have any idea how to overcome this?
Sandra.
Re: Patient Merging Error
I would say that you possibly tried to merge the patient with itself and it is complaining ?
Cheers Tony

Patient Merging Error
Sandra @ Bellarine
Hi Tony,
I've already checked that, when I attempt that it actually tells me that it can't merge with itself. This error is different, I changed the second patient name to all lowercase to ensure I wasn't selecting the incorrect patient. I just tried again and received the same error. Any other ideas?
Sandra.
Re: Patient Merging Error
I think it may be a bug related to moving the discount relationships between the patients.
Can you check if the patient you are merging from has any discounts defined and if so remove them and try the Merge again ?
If this works obviously you will need to manually add the discounts back to the merge to patient.
I will raise a JIRA if this fixes the problem ..
Cheers Tony

Patient Merging Error
It's a bug. I've raised ARCH-15 for it.

Thanks Guys!
I removed the discount from the patient and it worked straight away.

Re: Patient Merge Error
That's great , at least we have a work around. Tim has already resolved the issue in the 1.4 version ...
Cheers Tony
