We have several large client files with long list of patients. Generating invoices can take over 10minutes. Making appointments is also arduous. "Please wait..." popup appears between every invoice item, often for several minutes. All other client and patient files appear to run OK.

Is anyone else having this problem? All and any feedback welcome.

Re: Please wait...

Hi James, We are running a pretty huge database and haven't had speed issues for quite some time (since Version 1.3). We did have to fiddle with our cache settings for our scheduler. Sounds like your integrator might need to check your server/install.

Hi James,

I assume thsi has started to happen since you upgraded to version 1.4 ?

Approx how many patients triggers the issue ? i.e 10, 100, >100

May be a bug in version 1.4 but will need to have some more information.  :-)

Cheers

Tony

Tony,

Forgot to mention problem only started since 1.4 update.

Mostly seen with 2 particular client files, 1 has approx 100patients then other 300. Currently trying to find out which we can deactivate or transfer.

Very large individual patient files can cause some lag but not wasting time.

Thanks all,

James

Re: Please wait...

Yes we are having the same problems at Box Hill and Eltham since moving to 1.4. Can take over 30secs to simply transfer a client from one workspace to another. Large patient files take forever to loadCheersChris Barton On Tue, Jul 6, 2010 at 5:47 PM, <clinic@bhvet.com.au> wrote:

Re: Please wait...

Ahh that explains it,  we are still on a interim version of 1.4, not the full  1.4.

Good luck in finding the cause.

Hi Guys,

We have had the opportunity to test this in 1.4 on a database that expereinces the issue and have identified an issue related to a change made to support the appointment cut and paste functionality.  This will effect the speed of most save operations slightly but in the case of customers with many patients the issue is more obvious.

The problem has been solved in version 1.5 already.  For those on version 1.4 that need this issue reolved before 1.5 is released I believe we can supply a patched version of 1.4.  We will first do some exetnded testing on this patch on a site that experiences the issue and will then release it on the web site for implementers to download and install.

Cheers

Tony

Re: New or updated comment for General User's Discussion Forum t

Great news. Thanks guys.

Not checked forum for a while.

We have started deactivating patients where possible with limited improvement.

Look forward to the patch.

Thank-you,

James
