Printing at checkout
Hi everyone,
Merry Christmas and happy new year!
We have been trying to decrease our paper useage like good evironmental citizens and we have come across a scenario that unfortunately occurs often at patient checkout.
When a patient is admitted to hospital OpenVPMS generates a suite of documents; hospital charts, IV line labels, etc etc Some of these are printed then. Some of them dont get printed if they aren;t going to be used straight away. Furthermore some are printed using the "Preview" function .
In these cases unprinted documents will be listed at checkout. Most nurses will untick them, but it has been mentioned to me that those unprinted documents will continue to be asked about in subsequent check out events.
Is it true that all unprinted documents will appear in that checkout list? I thought only documents from the current date will be listed?

Merry Xmas and welcome to the New year.
Only documents with a date that is greater than or equal to the minimum of the invoice and visit dates that have not been printed will be listed in the print dialog.
