Result intergration with OpenVPMS

Hi everyone,
We are from VET Pathology located in Brisbane. We are looking for the way having the results automatically attached for case (RequestID) under OpenVPMS software
I found this link as below https://www.openvpms.org/documentation/csh/2.3/concepts/investigations
We can result by email with file attachment in body and subject with request ID
However I am unsure the syntax of subject line. Anyone having the ideas/expereicence please advise us
Re: Result intergration with OpenVPMS
Email results can be loaded via the Email Document Loader Job.
The subject isn't important; the investigation identifier must be included in the attachment name.
See the job configuration for more details.

Great. Thanks for prompt reply
What do you mean about investigation identifier ? Sorry I am new to OpenVPMS
Is something with request(order) ID ? Any syntax of file name that we need to follow ?
Re: Result intergration with OpenVPMS
The investigation identifier in this case is synonymous with the order identifier. If the order form template is configured correctly, it should automatically be included on the order form.
We need the investigation identifier included in the file name, to attach the results to the right record.
By default, the Email Document Loader will look assume the investigation identifier is the first digit string in the file name. For example, the following file names all have the investigation identifier 3035108:

Hi Tanderson,
Great. I totally appreciate for your help.
Just another question, Do you know how we can setup the order form to OpenVPMS ?
Re: Result intergration with OpenVPMS
You can use a Word or OpenOffice document as a template, with embedded fields that are merged with the order details. Probably easiest to contact support[at]openvpms[dot]com with your requirements.
Re: Result intergration with OpenVPMS
I think for Labs you can replace Order identifier with Practice Requisition Number - ie a number the practice requesting the test places on the lab submission form identifying the request. This is the investigation identifier that Tim is referring too.
The practice will also need to setup email imap.
