Suggestion - Day view for invoices

Hi,

It would be really useful to have an option to view invoice items list by day.

E.g. in the Visit editor invoice tab or just when editing an invoice to have an option where invoice items for each day could be listed just for one day and you would scroll between pages to view invoice items charged on different days. Then you could also sort items on different criteria just for that day.

This would really help us when dealing with patients in hospital for days or weeks.

I can dummy up what I envisage such a screen would look like...

We manage patients that stay in hospital for more than a day by creating a new invoice for each day.  This works best for us.

Hi,

Yeah - we have considered this. However it is not ideal for a number of reasons (we run a 24 hour hospital, have complex cases that are in hospital for weeks sometimes). We would much prefer and would happily fund (within reason) a project to allow this to be done for a single invoice.

HI,

Please find budget paintshop version below.

- 1 day displayed.

- Default sort can either be selected in options or defaults to alphabetical. Can still order within the day by time, name, price.

- Should show how many days on either side of the current view day is available

- If a day has no charges should still be displayed/need to be scrolled past.

Sorry - another addition. Should have a button that lets you toggle between day view and normal all in one view....

Could we suggest if this gets baked in that we make it a practice location config option?

Ie. Group invoice items by day (On/Off)

As a contasting use case, we have very low item counts for our hospital patients and the compact view suits us well.

Agreed. This is something that should be configurable at practice location (and potentially as a user config option).
