Transfer to WorkList

I seemed to remember we used to be able to transfer a pet to the Hospital Task List or the Day Surgery Task list during the consult workflow (after checkin) I cant remember how it was done? Any tips?

I recognise you can check them into those task lists from the CHECK IN work flow, but this is for those cases that during the consult workflow you decide to admit a pet.

Hi Ben,

Sorry I cannot remember any transfer function in the consult workflow.  You could and can still do it from the Patient -> information workspace though ?

I'm not sure, but is this what you're looking for?  You can transfer at any time in the consult workflow (such as examining patient in consult and then admitting to hospital).

Click Workflow | Worklists Select client.

At bottom of screen a button then appears, second from right, "Transfer". Click on this button and a screen of lists (like the checkin screen lists) appears. Click on the appropriate list and the appointment is moved.

That transfer button is only available if you have the patient on a worklist already...ie

We dont use a "consulting worklist", I didnt really see the point...A client enters the waiting room...is checked in by the reception __> marked as waiting on the schedule.  Vet checks shedule....clicks consult...pet is marked in progress...vet completes...pet is marked as billed...reception checks them out...

Didnt see the need to complicate this with a worklist...

Hi Tony,

We have changed the workflow as described above by Ben Charlton. There is no transfer feature from the schedule unless you already have the patient in a worklist which is what i have just moved away from. Is there something I am missing here or has this still not been resolved?

Hi Asha,

There is currently only the Check-In button from the Patient -> Information workspace.

If you want to have the ability to transfer into a worklist from the consult workflow this would need to be developed but would be quite straight forward to implement.
