User authority on products

Hi,
How do I restrict the ability to change anything in Products to Administrators only?
Staff other than Administrators can still make a product Inactive, add Prices, add tests, add linked items etc. They can't delete prices, but they can do almost anything else.
This was alerted to me as a product was made inactive by accident by one of our vets this week.

This is determined by the roles a user has.
What roles does your clinician have?
Take a look at the Users page which has a discussion what each of the roles do.
To edit products, users must have either the Administrator or Stock Administrator role.

The clinican has roles: Clinician and Nurse. Doesn't have Administrator or Stock Administrator role.

OK. Looks like you aren't using the standard authorities.
In Administration - Roles, take a look at the Clinician and Nurse roles.
See if the roles have the Products Create authorities. If so, remove it; this will prevent users with these roles from editing products.
