Using problems effectively
I don't think I understand how to use the problems tab effectively. They aren't used very much in my clinic.
The concept page states 'The Problem can have a lifetime that spans multiple visits and provides a way of looking at the notes and medication related to the problem. When looking at the the Medical Records summary, the items belong to the problem will be spread throughout the medical history, however, by using the Problems tab, one can see all the items associated with the one problem gathered together.'
I'm not sure how to create notes under multiple different visits that would also appear in the problems tab under the same problem?
I also don't quite understand using medication records. Is it just to have the record visible in a different place from the invoiced medication item or prescription?
Re: Using problems effectively
Normally, you would be able to have problems spanning multiple visits, but it appears this support has been broken in the current release. It will be fixed in the next minor release, 2.3.1.
Medication records are created through charging a medication product, or dispensing a prescription, but you can also add them manually. One possible use would be to record medications that a patient is on, if they have transferred from another clinic.
Re: Using problems effectively
It would be nice if it was supported that when adding a visit it could optionally be associated with a problem.
