Workflow automation

Hi there,

We use the workflow in all aspects, but since the upgrade the workflow does not automatically remove patients when they are checked out and finalised. Now we have to remember to delete them periodically off the work lists, otherwise it gets full and one cannot check anything else in until one has created some space for new ones. Is this just a setting I can change or must it be done manually? I am pretty sure that it used to happen automatically with the previous version we had.

Daryl - I think that there is something amiss with the steps that your staff are using. I just logged into your system and ran zz-test's zz-cat through an appointment/checkin/consult/checkout and eveything is clean.

When you are checking the process your staff use, be very careful to look at what they do to exit the Visit Editor/Medical Records screen that is shown when they press the checkin button for the appointment.  Ensure that they use OK to exit and do not kill the window using the red X at the top right.

[I suspect that we should add a 'Confirm Cancel' step if you ever try to use the Cancel button or Red X to exit the Visit Editor/Medical Records screen.]
