Can anyone tell me how to undo Adobe Reader Freezes - no certificates or other documents using it automatically print (ie on receipting after a consult) and if you click on an certificate in a patient history the program hangs necessitating log off & re login

freeze
Freeze was fixed with either an Adobe update that needed a Server restart or maybe it was just the server/Tomcat restart!?!
Re: Adobe Freeze
If not printing directly and not previewing either then same issue which is Open Office backend process is hung and not accepting new requests to do the merge and generate printout or pdf preview. We recently managed to find an issue with the open office communication which caused this very occasionally when two users tried to talk to open office at exactly the same time (hence why it was occasional). We have rectified in final 1.3 update which is due for release in the next week.
Unfortunately to rectify you need to stop Tomcat, terminate any soffice.bin process running as the openvpms user and then restart Tomcat.
If hanging previewing and not when printing direct then I think maybe a Adobe issue .. Like waiting for license agreement or update notification but obscured by browser window so you think it is hung ...
