Euthanasia deactivating patients?

I have noticed when checking euthanased patients that though they are marked as Deceased and have a deceased date they are still ticked as active.
Does this mean they will be returned on searches as an active patient or does the deceased tick prevent this.

Regards,

Nick

Re: Euthanasia deactivating patients?

Hey Nick, Can confirm deceased patients (as active patients) are included in combined customer+patient searches for us. Hasn't proved to be a problem for us, as when using patients to find customers, any previous animal can sometimes be handy to find the customer. Do you find hitting deceased patients on searches causes problems in the clinic?

Re: Euthanasia deactivating patients

Hi Guys,

Still think function that sets patient to deceased should update active flag so will JIRA change. Very straight forward fix :-)

Cheers Tony
