Insurance on check-out


One of our receptionists has mentioned the pop-up 'would you like to submit insurance' during the check-out procedure has disappeared. Is there a way to get that back?

Its should still be available. There are number of conditions that need to be met for it to prompt to make an insurance claim:

  • the patient has to have a current policy
  • the patient has to have a current appointment
  • the appointment can't be a boarding appointment (i.e. the Schedule can't have a Cage attached)

If the above conditions are met and:

  • a gap claim can be submitted, it will prompt to submit a gap claim on the current invoice, and it is unpaid; else
  • it will prompt to make a standard claim after the current invoice has been paid
