Mapping client addresses onto google maps

Sorry if this has been asked before but I was wondering if there was a way to export client address details to enable them to be mapped onto google maps for example. I've just been thinking it may allow us to target some advertising if there are areas in town where we are not known?
Re: Mapping client addresses onto google maps
Creating a report to export address's is relatively simple...finding the correct format to import into Google maps is hard...it uses a XML format, called KML. Its a fairly basic structure and it would be possible to export a set of results close to the requirements because Jasperreports does support an xml export natively...however OpenVPMS does not...this you would need to export, open the list in Excel and convert to a XML file google maps is able to read...all in all a bit of work

Hi,
There are a few websites that let you do this sort of thing. Google "points on a map" and you will get a bunch of different options.
For example I have used "Easy Map Maker" to achieve this sort of thing (though on a less street by street and more on a suburb basis).
It sometimes requires a bit of fiddling but is achievable.
If you need a hand with this contact me off forums and I can help.
- Addendum - Also, I have a report that exports client details with their address that I can share. Otherwise I imagine there is a standard report that does this - perhaps as your integrator if it is not already in your report list.
Kind Regards,
Adrian
