Pet insurance under customer not patient?

Have I got something set up wrong? Why is pet insurance information contained on customer not patient? What happens if Fido is insured with Woolworths yet Fluffy is insured with Petsure? Am I missing something?

 that field was for backward compatibility.  We dont use it in the patient screen there is a Insurance tab. 

 

The petsure plugin adds more features such as instant claiming and Gap payments
