Postcode changes

Hi,

Australia Post has just notified us of postcode changes in our area. I went into look-ups/suburbs and changed the postcode connected to each suburb and added new postcodes. I have checked several client files to see if the changes have been updated there and they have not. Should these postcodes changes be reflected in client files now that I've changed them in look-ups?

Hi Sandra,

The postcode associated with a suburb is only used to populate the post code field when you select the suburb. If you change in lookups it will not change the postcodes in all the contacts.

Is there a way of updating the postcodes already on client files without generating a report and changing them manually????
