Power of OpenVPMS & Bpay

Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd drop a story about what we have managed to get working at our clinic.
By learning some scripting and tinkering for some time we have managed to get our incoming bpay notifications from our bank to stream straight into an open VPMS tasklist.
Every day a scheduled set of scripts will check for the encrypted files, decrypt them, link them to customers and then create Tasks in a dedicated Worklist.

We have decided to keep the transaction side of things manual however. We prefer to have the staff check that the payment makes sense for the customer before applying it to their account.

All of this is possible because of OpenVPMS open source model and open back end. We wouldnt have been able to do this with any other system out there.

Cheers OpenVPMS!

Thank you for your notification. Because I am not a particularly computer literate user I wish to be deleted from your list of email recipients. The language is all "double dutch " to me Best wishes for the Festive Season Edward Yeh Brookvale Vet Clinic
