Random dispensing error / Document Linking
We have certain drugs that regularly but randomly behave oddly and wonder is this previously a reported bug:
- On invoicing the medication skips the label screen
- it will not let you add more medications
- to resume we need to apply / ok the product and then re- consult whence it will usually allow you to re enter and label print the drug
Any Solutions??
Document Linking -
Rather than ploughing through a list of documents to print when checking in or at some other points could a link be applied in the document setup that will allow you to nominate where they should be printed from by default or tick box so 1 document might be able to be attached to several different actions such checkins / transfers / checkouts etc

I haven't seen or been able to recreate the behaviour you mention.
We have identified a problem when someone changes an invoice item from a medication to a merchandise product. This causes a lock error on save. This has been recently rectified in the latest beta release.
If you can provide us with the precise steps to recreate the issue it would be very helpful.
In regards the check-in document selection idea I think it is good one. The current form list can be unwieldy and doesn't allow you to print multiple documents. One idea would be to provide a mechanism to link documents to work lists and whenever a task is created (via check-in or directly) it can create and maybe optionally print the documents ?
This may also be valid for check-out although check-out documents may be more specific to the case so not suited to this approach ?

Random dispensing error
Hi Nick & Tony,
We have seen the occasional red error dialog occur during invoicing. I am yet to nail down to a particular action. The error will persist until the invoice is closed and restarted. I have a screenshot at work that I shall post tommorrow.
