Printing a label associated with a product template

Hi, It would be cool if we could print a medication label associated with a product template.

The use we would want this for is for example for a FLK CRI. This is templated currently with the 3 medications separately. But when we dispense as an FLK would be cool if we could print a FLK label with its own specific text.

Re: Printing a label associated with a product template

In what way is the text different when the medication is dispensed from a template?

Is the text dependent on the template it is being dispensed from?

At present you can use a macro to generate the label text, but it doesn't have access to the template that produced it. If it did, you could generate the text conditionally.

Re: Printing a label associated with a product template

Yes - the text would be dependent on the template dispensed from.

I.e. the label printed would have the name of the template and text / macro conditional on the template.

E.g. at the moment if I bill a FLK template it has fentanyl, ketamine and lignocaine. I can print any of these three labels. But that would be misleading for what is in the syringe.

What I want is to be able to print a label with "FLK" as the medication or title, and text conditional to this.

Re: Printing a label associated with a product template

I do this by creating an extra product and adding it too the template - it is only used in a template and has the label associated with it

So in your case you create an FLK product with a 0 price and hide on the invoice

Also it should not be an s8 or any schedule for that matter because its not representing a sale as such (the individual items do that)
