Vetnostics Submission Form very slow to load and print

Hi 

We have a cloud server. when we invoice a Vetnostics test and print the form, there is a very long delay until the form prints. Does anyone else have this problem? does anyone have a fix?

Hi Matt,

I hadn't looked at this template before but on inspection it is setup as a single image with the merge fields positioned on top.  I think this would be the major reason for the performance issues as some images cause significant delays in Open Office merging and printing ..  I think the template needs to be redeveloped as proper text information not images.  Maybe vetnostics may contribute this to the project given it is to their advantage ?

Matt,

One thing that may help in the interim is to open your template in libreoffice/openoffice, right click on the image and you can compress the image. If it's not jpg it converts it to that first. I usually compress twice to ensure it is as compressed as possible. Then save and reupload your template.

Doing this on any of your odt templates can really speed things up significantly.
