Following discussion with Tony we have set automatic OpenOffice updates off - does this also apply to Firefox and Java? If so will we be instructed when to install such updates or will these be automatically done when OpenVPMS is updated?

I have a reminder set up to go to a list only. The reminder interval is set a 8 weeks. If I set the reminder cancellation interval to 2 days will it list the reminder for me at 8 weeks and then cancel the reminder 2 days later. My objective here is to get the first list and then not have it appear on any more lists.

I have attached a copy of the error I sometimes get when trying to log in to OpenVPMS.

This often happens if I log out and try to log straight back in again.

Thismorning I have had to change workstations which is a bit frustrating.

Is it something that I'm doing? Does anyone have any suggestions of how to prevent this from happening?

One more quick question. Does OpenVPMS have the ability to generate new client lists at the end of the month so we can direct marketing and welcome letters to these clients???

Also is there ability to generate reports of what client spend over a certain period (eg spend more than say $500 over a period of time) so we can concentrate and direct marketing towards the and good clients????

Hello,

Is it possible to declare some additional information on crossbred patient ?

For exemple, when you choose cross-bred breed, it'd be interrsting to be able to add some additional free text information like "labrabor-berger". It is sometimes important for breed related pathology.

Is it possible to add this kind of new information without a specific development?

Is there an option for setting up templates or procedures that you can set up on the program to save time doing estimates etc like on cornestone/rxworks, where you select your procedure and it produces an estimate for it and calculates drug volumes/numbers based on the animals current weight.????

I found the above document "How to make it easier to see where the cursor is" on this website. When I go to bring the document up it says that "There is a pdf attached with the old version of this page. This page needs to be rewritten."

Does that mean if I attempt to follow the instructions on the document it won't work? Or could I cause problems?

Would it be possible to be able to search for a client or a patient by their I.D. number. We have just been going through an account list and have been recording client names & addresses to follow up. It would be much easier to just be able to record and search on the client number. This would also help us in lots of other areas, some as simple as having a client number to record on eftpos & credit cards slips so that you know which client the slips relate to. . We would find that easier than recording phone numbers or client names on the slips.
