We were caught out the other day with an automatic appointment reminder SMS's sent to a patient that was made deceased the day before their appointment.

Is there a way to stop Automatic appointment reminder SMS's from sending to patients that are deceased?

I think there was a thread about reminders for deceased patients, but I can't see anything for appointment sms's.

I confess it has been years since my last post. It's great to see the forums are still so active.

We are planning on getting back "on the wagon" with the  OpenVPMS community later this year when we catch up several versions!

As part of the 'make things easier for new users' work on printing stuff, I have come to drug labels.  After much googling I have come to the conclusion that we should provide drug label templates for the following:

30258 Diskette 54x70mm   2 1/8 x 2 3/4 inch

30321 Large Address 36x89mm   1 4/10 x 3 1/2 inch

The 1.8 release contains a 1 8/10 x 3 inch label template for use in the US - but I cannot find (on Office Depot or Staples) a label of this size. Can a US/canadian person provide input please.

Anyone in the U.S. using this? and the closer to the far north suburbs of Chicago the better.

I am currently using Idexx Cornerstone. I have hated it since day one. It is nothing what they say it is and in many cases a step backward from my previous software.

I tried the demo and of course I was just muddling around and not getting a good feel for it.

I use an electronic prescription pad, C-Stone does not have one and not in sight for the future.

Very simple question I can't figure out the answer to.

I'd like to increase the size of the text box that pops up on the screen when at item is automatically invoiced through customer orders.

I think it's an archetype, but can't figure out where.

I feel this has been asked before, however I can't find the thread. So here goes.

Currently we have added to act.customerAccountChargesInvoice.1.0 description the following " openvpms:get(.,'author.entity.name') ". This displays the person who created the invoice in the description.

Having just read Pyevets question. We run slow every day at key times like generating the order or doing the banking.  We end up having to reset the Tomcat every day, which I was told we didn't need to do, but seems to be the only fix.

Do we have a similar problem to Pye and what do we do????

We have had 2 blackouts in 2 days & the server (which is running OP) was not shut down properly each time - we think the battery in the UPS needs replacing.  Since then, OP has been running incredibly slowly. We have reset the Tomcat server.  Where would the potential sources of the problem lie, so we can get it back up to speed by next Monday?

At the moment I am printing the order that is generated when I use the "generate order" function as I haven't set up electronic ordering yet.

This is alphabetical on the screen but in completely random order when printed. Is it possible to get this to print alphabetically too, as it is really difficult to find items as it is!
