Hi everyone,

Some of you may have noticed that there are 3 new user projects "Under Discussion" that have been created by Tony.

They are;

- Integrated Visit Editor
- Product Template Visit and Invoice notes
- New Visit Invoice selector

They all have linked JIRAs. These are hopefully going to be the core new user features for 1.6 so plenty of discussion would be great.

We are trying to add discounts to certain products for date ranges. Eg: this month all Hill's Z/d and D/d is 20% off. 

I have tried adding the discount for the specified date range >>product>>edit>>discounts>>add

However, after adding the discount, it doesn't transfer to the product once I add it to the invoice.

What am I doing wrong?

Is there any way to set up so that when creating a new consult all products sold in that consult default to the consulting clinician rather than having to choose for each item? We are having a lot of items sold with no clinician and this appears to be at least part of the reason.

I am wondering if any of the reports will give us an estimate of professional fees from vet services and treatment ? (Needed for insurance purposes).

I'd like to round off the price of all invoiced items to the nearest
whole dollar in our OpenVPMS 1.4 install.
In Hong Kong, nobody likes carrying tiny copper coins!
Any tips?

And another question while I'm at it!!

We often have promotions with Royal Canin and Hills offering discounts on specific food items - eg: this month it is 20% of Hill's z/d and Hill's d/d 

We want a way to identify which of our clients are on Hill's z/d, d/d, etc, so that we can target them directly by phone, email, etc - when the promotion occurs.

Can someone tell me if there is a way to run a report like this?

Hi all,

We have lots of patient forms/templates that we use in hospital.

I notice that when you 'check in' the patient to the waiting room, it prompts you to print a patient form. Eg: hospitalisation form, procedure consent form. At that stage we often don't know if the patient is going to be admitted to hospital or not.

I'm wondering if there is any way to set up 'estimate' templates. Eg: have a standard estimate for dental, basic lump removal, etc. Then apply it to the customer's account and modify if required?

Has anyone else had concerns about the fields in the report dialogue boxes that come up in Open VPMS being all over the place. With reports that have multiple fields to enter, the date fields are not beside each other, or directly under each other. This has created some input errors at our practice at times.

I have noticed the same thing with patient or client letters when there are multiple fields to be added. The fields are out of order, or at least not in the order that they appear on the page.

Is there any way to copy appointments to multiple days?
