Can someone please tell me what to use as subject source and content source when I am creating a new Email Template for Receipts.

We have an email template for invoices, which I have edited to be for receipt of payment.

I just can't get it to work with either $receipt or $payment

It has probably been more then 6 years since the Melbourne OpenVPMS users all got together but with the potential release of Version 2 in 2018, the time may be more than overdue.

I was interested in;

a) Who's out there!

Are you a Melbourne user who is still reading the forums and can make it to Melbourne in the next 3-4 months?

b) What features ?

If you a) use Connection Security=StartTLS or SSL/TLS in your Mail Server settings
b) use AVG Free (and probably other antivirus products) configured to check outgoing email (the default for AVG)

then you will get errors like:

I am wondering if anyone has a good way to get histories typed into investigation letter documents.

Our system is set up so that to generate a pathology form you charge the item, it generates an investigation that has a path form associated with it, then you print the form associated with the investigation.

Is there a way to allow clinicians to input history into the form. I can't external edit the form that I can see.

We have some archetype modifications that mean we occasionally get error messages such as the one below.

I suspect this means one appointment does not have a clinician entered, a required field for us. Thus I can't check this patient out.

Would appreciate any help with this one to balance the books for the end of the month.

A staff member processed a credit incorrectly today. A client returned food and a credit invoice was generated for the product. A refund payment was then processed. The staff member accidently processed that refund as CASH when it should have been credit VISA. Our Till Balancing Report does not match our EFTPOS terminal. I have tried reversing the refund payment but get the following error message "Failed to validate Tendered of Cash: The tendered amount must be >= the amount".

I use an older version of OpenVPMS on a Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop running Windows 7 to run a very small mobile practice as a sideline to my regular work.

Windows Explorer was not working, so after Googling several forums I turned off all startup items except one from Windows.

After that I could not open OpenVPMS & got the attached error message.

I enabled all the startup items, but still can't open OpenVPMS.

Any help to fix this (hopefully using words of one syllable!) would be greatly appreciated.

Matt C's by line "Every click eliminated is good for the soul" has got me thinking.

Just looking for some guidance or advice. When printing labels through openvpms the program has suddenly started freezing and will not print any labels.  There is no error msg . Last week I had the same issue when going to print documents through openvpms with our normal printer but after restarting it fixed itself . This time the restart didn't solve anything. Any help will be much appreciated.
