just a quick note, we run OpenVPMS for our clients on VPS Linux servers and use Google cloud print for printing.

we had an issue when we tried to add a new printer to the system saying the following

(1280, 'server-error-internal-error')

the issue is due to Google changing some configuration files stopping the PPD files from downloading

Is anyway using OVPMS with a chromebook/chromebase? Is this possible with regards to editing of open office and word documents? I.e. will letters with input fields still work and allow entry of data?

Does anyone have any information regarding the issue of adding a new phone contact for a Customer and it auto ticks Preferred.

This is causing some issues in clincs where staff have forgotten to untick preferred after adding additional numbers and they end up with more than one preferred.

SMS question:  if you have more than one Preferred phone contact with SMS allowed - which phone number will the SMS be sent when its a reminder SMS.

Hi - we have just moved from using paper to having our Cattery bookings through Open via a Schedule view... so we book a cage out for a number of days..putting in the date and time in and the date and time out. The issue is over busy periods such as Easter when a cat, say in Cage 1 is booked to leave at 10am and a new cat is booked in the same day at 4pm. If I select that cage can be double booked then two cage #1 are created for the rest of the year..... and that cage technically can be booked twice in error....

This will be simple I am sure.  For some reason our in folder has eleventy million images and pdfs waiting to go out of our IN folder and into clients files and attach to investigations.

How do I fix this?

We use a Patient Form pre printed for each appointment. I have attached the file - feel free to use it if you like it!

Current the nurses complete the section on the Reminders manually. I have been looking for a merge field that looks for reminders listed on a patients file such that they can automatically print out on the form. But could not find one.

Just had a "cold call from an Arthur at Methsof about electronic S8 drug register software which he says integrates with OpenVPMS providing automatic electronic record keeping for your S8s.

Is anyone using VetS8?
