G'day all,

I've tried a few variations on 'or' statements in a report filter box with no joy. What is the correct syntax?

The immediate application is to tidy up some mis-named products using the Product List Report. For example we have products in the same brand with names beginning with "r/c" and "Royal Canin" and would like to see them all on one report.

While I'm asking: What about AND useage? Would this also work in other search bars for on-screen displays eg customers, patients etc?

Search database by Transaction

How does one search the database for a specific transaction? viz. A client has made a direct deposit to the practice Bank account, and only provided the invoice number as a reference and a specific amount. The amount may or may not equal the customer's outstanding balance

printing reminders

I have an issue if i go to my reminders and press print or send all, it just sits there is does nothing. I assume its having a problem with open office, im running v4.1.1, the processes show its launching soffice.bin and soffice.exe but nothing happens.

from the command prompt i can launcher swriter and soffice as well and there dont seem to be any errors generating.

any ideas?

How do I deal with in house use of meds and stock control

We have stock control very well set up - but 4 “unusual” stock uses that I charge out normally but don’t complete ie post an invoice for. It has become clear to me that I should be doing that (posting the invoice) if only to keep our stock control in order. They are these categories:

Vet - Expired Stock

Vet - In House Use (not charged out individually, e.g. Lignocaine anaesthetic spray for feline anaesthetic intubation).

Changing Capital Letters in account info

How does one go about allowing Capital lettters to be used in Customer information, and Company Name and not self correcting to lower case ?

Also same topic in Product Name.

I presume its within Admin and archetype , but cannot find the actual archetype

Change Practise Email address

Hi,

I am trying to change the practise email address but it doesn't seem to be getting it's info from practise location as i have changed the port from 25 there but i am getting and error saying it is still trying to use port 25 when i try to send mail to a client. Is there somewhere else we need to change the email server settings?
