Hi all

We have been using OpenVPMS for a year now and never had a problem.

Recently though I noticed that when I try to edit patient's medical notes, rather than a popup with existing medical notes, the notes are gone and if I click 'OK' without any input the existing note would be deleted. This has never happened before and we haven't updated the system so I'm a bit puzzled. Anyone else experienced this before?

Currently if we have a return from our electronic pharmacy this gets created as a Credit even if we are returning items that are on a current/active invoice. This is a problem for two reasons:

1) The credit note is a seperate document that needs to be actioned and finalised. This is usually not done as it doesn't appear in the typical workflow.

2) The credit doesn't appear on the invoice but a seperate credit note. It is hard for staff to track if an item has been returned and demonstrate this to clients.

We have a question about if unwanted/unused products can be renamed. We searched on this but couldn't find anything relevant.

I am able to run the Customer Product Sales Report and others when I use the "%" all customers entry into the customer field.  

However as soon as I try and input a customer name or ID number, a blank report is generated.  Well really no report at all (no text on report).

I have been very careful to check the date range and exact input of the client name as per the customer name field, and still am unable to see the magic numbers.

Any ideas?......Thanks in advance.

Just wondering if anyone has had layout problems when trying to export the patient activity and customer activy reports including the "export" versions also.

Below is a screen shot. In short - the layout of the csv version is random and thus - leaves me unable to extract the required fields of info (from each column) in order to turn it into a database for me to then print onto envelopes for marketing material.

I have the report to generate the "number" of active clients by month/yr or by period, but is there a way to generate a report which will actually "list" the active clients with their details?

I'm trying to run the customer balance report that came with openvpms, but when i choose the date and run it, it keeps coming up with the error "report has no pages to print".

Am I doing something wrong?

Is there any way to get our openvpms to remove the leading zero on mobile phone numbers when sending sms via smsglobal? the zero  in "0437..." is causing an error, it needs to be "437...". I'd still like it to display with the zero on openvpms though as that that is the number staff need to dial when calling.

I presume this is all done in archetypes, but just want to check this will work before I go editing in there.

I would like to make an almost identical copy of the archetype contact.phoneNumber.1.0, but have it slightly different. I would like the display name of the new one to be Preferred Phone Number. The preferred would obviously be true().   *When a new customer is added I would like this to be on view in the contacts section (currently it is Location & Phone Number)

 Is there anyone who can do Open VPMS staff training in Sydney ?
